20 years on stage

Founding story

A vision that became a legacy

SAH was founded in 2006 by Miguel Sahid and Nancy Millán Hernández, who conceived the school's vision together. What began as a shared dream became Sociedad Actoral Hispanoamericana — a home for Hispanic-American actors, and later, SAH Conservatory.

In her memory, SAH awards the Nancy Millán Prize every year to a student who carries forward the same dedication and generosity she brought to this project.

Sociedad Actoral Hispanoamericana began as a theatre company built by and for the Hispanic community in Miami. Two decades later, that same artistic vision lives on as SAH Conservatory of Dramatic Arts — the school where it's taught, trained and passed on to new generations.

Our space

A stage of our own to create

The Blue Box Theatre is SAH's own venue in Doral. Here our students rehearse, train, film, and perform in front of a real audience — the space where training becomes production.
